Josephine - Maternity Photo Session

This past Sunday, I had a maternity photo session.  Yeah baby!

They mentioned that I was acting a bit like Austin Powers.  Hey, whatever works to make them smile right?  Well, to tell you the truth, it wasn't intentional.  I was hella nervous.  I'm not sure where the Austin Powers attitude came from.  Haha.  I tried to keep the client comfortable by chatting about food to "how my assistant became hung over."  Luckily, she was attentive to the client's hair, make up, and lighting solutions.  Thanks "Aunt" Mer!

I had a couple of weeks to research different poses and photo locations.  I must say it paid off.  I was able to shoot on a couch, near the front door, the back door, bedroom, and balcony.  Having a cheat sheet helps as well.  The key is to shoot near a window with lots of natural light!

Jo and Family,
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to capture a beautiful moment.  I hope you enjoyed the session as much as I did.  And thanks for the Dim Sum!
